Mumfor & Sons. Incredible. Seeing them live is like witnessing a show unlike any other. They have amazing voices and write the most beautiful lyrics. 

Anyway I saw this pin on pinterest a couple of months ago and KNEW I just had to copy it!

Materials:
Empty frame
foam board/illustration board
chalkboard spray paint
stencils
chalk

I took an empty frame and went to hobby lobby and bought some thick illustration board/foam board. I spray painted it black with chalkboard paint and took stencils and chalk and made my beautiful piece! i love it and I put it right above my bed just like the original

Autumn Chopped Salad {food}

Tonight we made a "to-die-for" recipe off pinterest and what better way to start off our new adventure with some Autumn Chopped Salad.

The recipe originally comes from Espresso & Cream and the process was super easy.
Ingredients included:
-6 to 8 cups chopped romaine lettuce
-2 medium pears, chopped
-1 cup dried cranberries
-1 cup chopped pecans
-8 slices thick-cut bacon, crisp-cooked and crumbled
-4 to 6 oz. feta cheese, crumbled
-Poppy seed Salad Dressing (I like T. Marzetti) we used Strawberry poppyseed
-Balsamic Vinaigrette (I like Newman's Own Light Balsamic Vinaigrette)

This is sure to bring everyone to dinner, sweet and salty (and healthy) and you get to show off your beautiful kitchen platters.
